What is CSC Center?

CSC एक Digital India प्रोग्राम का हिस्सा है। CSC का Full Form – Common Service Center होता है। इसे Hindi में सामान्य सेवा केंद्र कह सकते है। भारत को डिजिटल बनाने में CSC एक महत्त्वपूर्ण पहल है, जिसके माध्यम से ग्रामीण क्षेत्रों में डिजिटल सेवाएं पहुँचाई जाती है

नागरिकों को विभिन्न G2C (सरकार से नागरिक) और अन्य B2C व्यवसाय से नागरिक) सेवाओं के वितरण के लिए CSCs को सहायक फ्रंट-एंड ICT (सूचना और संचार प्रौद्योगिकी) सक्षम केंद्रों के रूप में परिकल्पित किया गया है। इनका प्रबंधन और संचालन स्थानीय कुशल उद्यमियों द्वारा किया जाता है। G2C सेवाओं सहित सेवा पोर्टफोलियो, स्थानीय आबादी को रोजगार के अवसर प्रदान करने वाले एक स्थायी ग्रामीण उद्यम को सक्षम बनाता है।

CSC आज ग्रामीण भारत में सेवा वितरण बिंदुओं में से एक के रूप में स्थापित हैं। वे परिवर्तन एजेंट के रूप में तैनात हैं, ग्रामीण उद्यमिता को बढ़ावा देते हैं और ग्रामीण क्षमता और आजीविका का निर्माण करते हैं। वे डिजिटल विकास, ग्रामीण उद्यमियों और सामाजिक समावेश को बढ़ावा देने पर ध्यान केंद्रित करते हैं।

CSC 2.0 – One Panchayat, One CSC

सीएससी योजना के कार्यान्वयन की सीख से, सरकार ने ग्राम पंचायत स्तर पर नागरिकों को विभिन्न सेवाएं प्रदान करने के अपने दृष्टिकोण को प्राप्त करने के लिए CSC 2.0 के रूप में सीएससी योजना शुरू की। सीएससी 2.0 का विजन ‘एक पंचायत, एक सीएससी’ है। इसमें नागरिकों को ई-सेवाएं प्रदान करने के लिए देश की सभी ग्राम पंचायतों को कवर करते हुए 2.5 लाख सीएससी की स्थापना की परिकल्पना की गई है। सीएससी 2.0 का उद्देश्य ग्रामीण आबादी के लिए सेवाओं की उपलब्धता और पहुंच में और सुधार करना है।
