I’ve been on Isentress 400 mg twice daily for about 2 years now, and I can share a bit of my experience. I started seeing a noticeable drop in my viral load within the first month, and by my third-month checkup, I was undetectable. It’s a solid integrase inhibitor and generally well-tolerated.

As for side effects, I personally had some mild insomnia in the beginning, but that went away after a couple of weeks. Some people report fatigue, headaches, or GI discomfort, but I didn’t experience much of that. One thing to note is to avoid taking it with antacids that contain aluminum or magnesium—they can interfere with absorption.
