Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)
The 'NOT READY' status indicates that either the scanner USB cable is disconnected, the driver certificate failed to validate against the UIDAI management server, or your RD Service annual subscription has expired. Replug the USB cable, check your internet connectivity, and verify subscription status.
Morpho RD Service runs on localhost port 11100 (accessible via https://127.0.0.1:11100, https://localhost:11100, or http://127.0.0.1:11100).
Click '1. Run Initialization' to connect to the local Morpho RD Service. Once connected, click 'Serial Number'. The tool will query the device info XML endpoint and display your hardware serial number with an option to copy it.
Error 720 means device communication was interrupted. Disconnect the USB cable, wait 5 seconds, reconnect directly to a computer USB port (avoid external USB hubs), restart the Morpho RD Service in services.msc, and run Initialization again.
