Rupee Symbol Font (₹) : भारतीय रुपये को दर्शाने के लिए (₹) चिन्ह का उपयोग किया जाता है। यह Symbol उदय कुमार द्वारा डिज़ाइन किया गया है और सरकार ने 15 जुलाई 2010 को आधिकारिक रूप में सार्वजनिक किया गया। इस Rupee (₹) Symbol को अपनाने से पहले एकखुला प्रतियोगिता रखा गया और भारतीय प्रकृति और संस्कृति से मेल खाने वाला सिंबल का चयन किया गया।

यह भारतीय आधिकारिक सिंबल है, इसलिए यह ग्लोबली अपनाया गया है। इसे आप अपने Document File में टाइप कर सकते है। Rupee Symbol को डॉक्यूमेंट फाइल में टाइप करने के लिए आपके पास उससे सम्बंधित Font होना आवश्यक है।

How to install & use the ITFFont

ऊपर दिए लिंक से ITFFont.zip फाइल डाउनलोड करें।
डाउनलोड हो जाने के बाद WinZip या WinRAR सॉफ्टवेयर के सहायता से अनज़िप/एक्सट्रेक्ट करे।
अभी आपको एक्सट्रेक्टेड फोल्डर में ITFRupee.ttf नामक फाइल दिखने लगेगा। उस पर क्लिक करे, अगले स्टेप में Install बटन पर टैप करें।
इनस्टॉल हो जाने के बाद MS Word फाइल ओपन करें।
फोंट्स से ITF Rupee फॉण्ट को चुने।
आगे कैपिटल A से T तक लेटर्स का उपयोग करके अलग अलग स्टाइल में Rupee Symbol को Type कर सकते है। [Use Capital A to Capital T for different Font style in Rupee Symbol.]
