यदि आपको मूलधन (प्रिंसिपल अमाउंट), ब्याजदर (रेट ऑफ़ इंटरेस्ट) और समय (टाइम पीरियड ऑफ़ लोन) ये तीन चीजे पता हो तो SI Formula का उपयोग करके कुल ब्याज निकाल सकते है।

उदा. रमेश ने शोरूम से एक बाइक (Two-wheeler) खरीदी जिसकी ऑन-रोड कीमत 120000 रूपये है।  उसके पास पर्याप्त पैसे नहीं है, इसलिए उसने अपनी बाइक ABC कंपनी से फाइनेंस कराया है और 50000 रूपये डाउन पेमेंट के स्वरुप में अदा किया है, याने की रमेश को ABC कंपनी से 70000 रूपये ऋण के स्वरुप में लेना होगा। ABC कंपनी का ब्याजदर 18% है और  लोन की क़िस्त 2 वर्ष (24 महीने) में चुकाना है।

तो रमेश को मूलधन पर कितना ब्याज देना होगा और मासिक किश्त कितना भरना पड़ेगा?[vc_empty_space height=”20 px”]

1 ) सिंपल इंटरेस्ट निकालने के लिए फार्मूला SI = P x R x T/100

ऑन-रोड कीमत = 120000 रूपये

डाउन -पेमेंट = 50000 रूपये

मूलधन (प्रिंसिपल अमाउंट) P = 120000 – 50000

= 70000 रूपये

ब्याजदर (रेट ऑफ़ इंटरेस्ट) R = 18%

लोन चुकाने की अवधी (Tenure) T = 2 वर्ष

तो हमारा सिंपल इंटरेस्ट का फार्मूला हो जायेगा – SI = (70000 x 18 x 2) / 100

=  (1260000 x 2) / 100

= 2520000 / 100

= 25200 रूपये

मतलब रमेश को 70000 की मुलराशी पर 18% ब्याजदर के हिसाब से 2 साल के लिए लेने पर कुल 25200 रूपये ब्याज के स्वरुप में देना होगा।

2) अब देखते है इसका मासिक क़िस्त (EMI) कितना होगा।

जैसा की आपको पता होगा की EMI का मतलब मूलधन और ब्याज को जोड़के 2 साल (24 महीने) में विभाजन करना होगा।

EMI = (मुलराशी + ब्याज)/अवधी (महीनो में)

= (70000 + 25200) / 24

= 95200 / 24

= 3966.66
